Raven, a premier truckload carrier, is seeking professional Class A CDL Tractor Trailer drivers. We are a family orientated company that truly believes in keeping all doors open for everyone. Our drivers are not kept behind a glass window; they are an integral part of our company. We have operating hubs in FL, GA, NC & OH.
Our equipment is late model tractors equipped with APU’s, Inverters, refrigerators and lots of living space. 60% of our fleet are automatics with the balance being 10-speed Eaton transmissions. Our fleet is governed at 70 mph. We have no inward facing cameras.
As far as our driving area, Texas is our westward boundary, Pennsylvania our northern boundary, the Atlantic ocean our eastern boundary and the Gulf of Mexico our southern boundary. No New York.
Our driver pay rates, 46.5 to 50.5 cents per mile depending on experience level, are at the top of the industry.In addition, if you drive a LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) powered sleeper truck you earn an additional two cents (2¢) per mile, all miles.In addition to that, we also have the "Golden Nugget" pay program that pays an additional two cents (2¢) per mile for all miles, once you reach 2400 miles (over 1/3 of our drivers exceed 2400 miles per week). The program pays out weekly, no waiting for a month or quarter end. In addition to that,* you can earn a Safety Bonus that pays an additional one cent (1¢) per mile for all miles* in each quarter that you earn the bonus. Additional Pay includes Breakdown Pay, Stop-off Pay, Loading/Unloading Pay. Guaranteed Home Time. 80% Drop & Hook—99% No Touch Freight. Assigned Tractors & Dispatch, No Slip Seating.
To qualify, a candidate MUST be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Class A CDL License. If you have 6 months on-the-road experience and a CDL school graduate, we have a place for you (earn $.41.5 CPM for all miles until you make the one-year experience level). For those brand-new CDL drivers graduating from a National Publicly Funded Truck Driving School, we have a program for you; earn while you train (6-8 weeks) and then $.41.5 CPM until you make the one-year experience level.
